Harvest Food Products began manufacturing high quality Asian foods in 1982.
The owners, Chau and Khai Kha, were Chinese immigrants who brought to America authentic recipes and seasoned expertise in the production of traditional Asian foods.
With energy and enthusiasm out of their San Francisco storefront, a new business was born, manufacturing a variety of Asian delicacies. With success, they converted their market’s storage space into a manufacturing space. They secured USDA approval and began producing and packing their first products.
The Kha's found an immediate market for it's potstickers, spring rolls, wontons and other items in specialty grocery stores and restaurants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. To this day, Harvest Foods still believes that it's early success is attributed to the authentic flavors, easy preparation, and attractive presentation of their products.
Now under the guidance of their children Danny, Connie and Peter Kha, the company has built upon their parents’ vision by building a 40,000 square foot USDA inspected production facility located in Hayward CA. All products are made with the highest quality and most fresh ingredients. We now service traditional grocery, club, institutional and private label channels with customers across the United States and internationally.
Our facility and products consistently receive the highest grades from independent testing services, such as Silliker Labs, GFSI and BRC Global Standards and our own customer's quality control departments. These issues are of the highest concern for us.
Looking forward, Harvest Foods is constantly developing new items and looks to provide their customers with the most innovative and highest quality food products.
